WASHINGTON -- The Tennis Channel is accusing Comcast Corp. of discriminating against its cable TV network by relegating it to a premium sports tier that reaches only a small number of subscribers, even as Comcast-owned sports channels get much wider distribution.

For the better part of the last decade, the top tennis player in the Utah high school scene has borne the name Macfarlane.

For the Macfarlane family of Weber High School, this weekend will mark the end of an era.

OGDEN -- The steady wind that floated across Mount Ogden Park on Tuesday afternoon brought with it both a changing of the guard and an air of familiarity to this year's Region 1 girls tennis championship.

Weber High School's stellar senior star Mary Anne Macfarlane capped her Region 1 career with her fourth consecutive league championship at No. 1 singles.

OGDEN -- Sky View edged Mountain Crest and the rest of a balanced field to claim the Region 5 girls tennis team championship in action at Ogden High School.

Following Friday's final round, the Bobcats tallied 53 points, followed by Mountain Crest (44), Box Elder (34), Ogden (33), Bonneville (32) and Logan (29).
